Your blocks are looking good too Bobbie.

I guess it has been a tad difficult for those of you who work visually because I have only given you labeled diagrams to work from?
Would it help if I had used coloured diagrams along the way?
Or would that confuse you more if you're using different colours from the diagram?
Something to consider for next time ............. if you can stand to do second mystery that is? ha ha
As a preview of sorts, I do have a plan for another mystery that is 'simply amazing'!
But first, lets just get through this one......... ha ha

mind you ... the last 2 mysteries i joined i didn't do the quilt till i saw the end result ... haha ... very norti of me maybe ... but i was glad i didn't do them ... they were not nice finished ... not nice at all ... haha

Yours WILL be lovely Bobbie.......... and ............... if you want to see pics of mine you will have to wait cause I have had a miss-hap almost 2 weeks ago now and hurt my hand. I know, I can hear you from here.......... all this good sewing weather and not a single stitch to be had!!!!! Just lucky I am still able to operate the PC or the mystery would still be ........... a mystery............ oh yes, that's right......... it still is!!!

My block pictures, my finished quilt pictures?? I wonder Bobbie, are you trying to cheat again and trick me into posting my photos so you can guess???? ha ha As soon as you see the last unit I recon you will put it all together right away!!! haha

I do know some here are busy with home life ATM, so they may be behind in the mystery construction. Just remember, it's not a race, it's a mystery and you will have a beautiful little quilt when you get around to finishing it and yes please, we would all like to admire your finished tops/quilts in the mystery gallery.

Finishing the mystery, now that is a whole other subject on it's own.
I know Karen is planning to expand hers to fit a single bed.
Others are thinking about making it into a table topper for picnics ( Bobbie and I).
It could be made even bigger with the addition of another pieced border?
The possibilities are endless, but I guess you will have to finish the mystery part first?
Then you will each know what you want to do when it comes finishing the project.

i just thought maybe you had taken pics at each stage and if you had you could be posting them ... and maybe pretend that you are doing it along with the rest of us ... haha ...


but if you want you can post the finished product ... i am sure no one would mind ...

I can't pretend I am sewing Bobbie, cause there are other important sewing jobs that need to be done, like yesterday, too and I am sure to be caught out if I say I am sewing when I am not....... if you know what I mean? ha ha

In other words, I think my name should go beside that other fellow who could not tell a lie when he was asked if he chopped down the cherry tree, not that I chopped down a cherry tree mind you!!! No I did NOT! But I am also NOT sewing at the moment either............ And if I start doing that how will I ever keep up cause I don't have that good a memory these days either.................. ha ha

On a brighter note, I am one day closer to sewing so you would be one day closer to seeing my pics in the gallery! ha ha

Luckily we were not washed away last night with the floods! Why is it that the highest part of the floods always happen in the dark around here??? It's not a secret or anything how high they get cause there is always a trail of debris left behind to tell the tale!!! ha ha All it does is keep me awake and on water watch all night!!! ha ha

So, somewhere in my sleeplessness last night/early this morning, while watching the flood water go up and down and listening to the poring rain I thought.............?

You know we are very close to finishing this mystery........ or we could be?

I could be persuaded to send the next instalment EARLY and put you all out of your misery .......... but ONLY if all participants post a photo in the mystery gallery of their 4th and 5th completed units.

Oh, I should have said to keep it fair ........... Karen you will only need to post a pic of the same amount of units 4 and 5 as all the others have had to make in the original mystery size, not the full amount for your larger quilt, unless you want to of course.
