| so you are saying there could be more than 2 words in the answer ...
as in twinkle twinkle star .... 2 different words and but one of them being said twice ...
ok so it could be 'starry starry night'

| Stealing someone else's!!! Don't give up Bobbie, go for a quick dip and maybe it will come to you? Or follow Lorna around? If no one guesses it, I will have to draw a name out of a hat from those who had a go to determine a winner. But, I reckon pretty soon someone will twig and get it right and I won't have to do that draw. There is plenty of time yet for guessing everyone. | |

| The answer is in the sewing. As you sew, so shall you reap. And when you think you have it right, after seeing next week's clue and checking all the bits that are left, I will throw the cat among the pigeons and hopefully put you all off on a tangent again the week after............ It wouldn't be a mystery otherwise now would it? | |

| ok ... i have just re-read the whole thread ... and yes there are some ummm ... what i may consider little cryptic cluey thingy bits drifting in and out along the way .. and maybe even one or two floating about in the pdf's ... but i could be reading stuff into things that are not even there .... soooo ... i am not going to say or do anymore just yet ... let the mystery continue ... but just know i am sitting here watching and waiting and thinking my little brain to death ... ....... cos i don't have a bloody clue ... even though there are 'some' about .. i still don't know what they are ... | |

I don't know that one Wendy. Did you mean wonky stars? (darn! She tricked me!!! ) Or were you describing your sewing skills and preempting what the outcome of that exercise will be? Maybe you should have guessed 'crazy stars'? (Drat! She got me again!! Not saying nothing else!!! Either way, that answer (and mine) are both all incorrect. Bobbie, if you have read the thread and the PDFs, there are still two more sources that I have given you along the way that will help solve this little mystery puzzle. You are heading in the right direction, so long as you are not heading down to the pool again for another dip! ha ha I will be away from the thread until Sunday evening so please talk among yourselves in here and if anyone gets into great difficulty, and I am needed .............. Bobbie and Karen know how to contact me............ but don't be calling me up for extra clues ok? Oh My......... wonder what it could be? Keep trying everyone................ it is most entertaining, well for me anyway. ha ha

| Oh dear! I forgot how much I hate repetitious sewing! I may be late with this lot... I have oodles of paperwork to do... then more sewing broken by a 6 yo's birthday party. | |

| i have finished my HST's ... and now have to press and resize them .. cos i cut all the 2 7/8 inch squares to 3 inches .... this allows me room for stuff-ups with my 1/4 inch seam that is not always correct or straight ... heehee ... and also allows for a slight mis-shapen or crooked block which i can straighten or un-crooken ... (that really is a word ) ...
off to check what the girls are doing .. they are very quiet ... Rob and Roxi have gone to put some crab pots in .. crab for dinner ... yummmmmmy .... and i am supposed to be watching the angels ... i can hear thumping on the floor upstairs .. hopefully it is toys and not someones head ...
catch you all later ...

| ok ... now i am back and have started pressing my HST's ... finger pressing to start and then ironing them to set it properly ...
as i am being a little different and using a lighter colour for my background (my accent is actually my dark colour ) ...... can i make a small suggestion here ... when pressing your seams on these little beauties ... press the seam toward the 'background' colour and not necessarily to the darkest colour ...
i am thinking that somehow all the seams will have to lay a certain way and if i do it to the dark then half my HST's will have the seam going the wrong way .. and that will be a pain in the butt when it comes to sewing them to something else ...
just a suggestion in case anyone else is being a little rebellious ... opps .... ummm ... different and using a lighter colour for the background ...

Oh My Quilted Stars And yes I am uploading another photo of my fabric just pressing them now and then the cutting will start. I love the new accent fabric Michele, and your guess is lovely too, but most definitely incorrect. Go directly to jail. Do not go past Go! Do not collect $200! ha ha Or .......... (my rules) .......... just begin again?
