Helen ... hand made potmits can be very nice hey? ... I enjoy making them cos they come together almost as fast as a block does ... of course there is a little more work involved in it ... but .. they are nice ... and i also use the insul-brite ... and that stuff really does work too .. haha ... and washes with no drama .... some of my mits are rather old and still work very well ...

i think this year i will be flatpacking mine when i mail it off ... the post office does not hate me so much haha .. 


now ... photos ... do you have a camera on your phone ..... ridiculous isn't it when someone like me actually thinks of that ... cos i hate it when that is what people use instead of a real camera ... especially when the actually own a proper camera ...... 

phones are suppose to be for ringing people ... not getting messages ... receiving emails .. checking facebook ... and taking photos with ... 

oh .. and my DIL uses her phone as an ipod ... nothing but music on hers ... you walk into the kitchen at night when she is cooking dinner ... especially if she has had a couple of alcoholic beverages and she is missing her mum ... and there she is .. dancing around the kitchen to the sound of Elvis and his Suspicious Minds coming from a tinny sounding phone speaker ... then comes a couple of Slim Whitman songs ... and another Elvis one or two .... then ... ACDC of all things then comes Miley Cyrus and a little bit of Justin Beaver ... (yes i know that is not right lol) .... oh ... and there is a perfectly good stereo in the next room ..... which cost around $2000 .... which is about the same as what her iphone cost ... hahaha .. but the stereo does sound somewhat better .... 

 .............. i really do have a problem with staying on topic don't i .....   


the question again was ... do you have a camera on your phone ....  ... because you could possibly take a pic with your phone and upload it to the computer that way ... 

must see the doctor about some ritalin ... or maybe i just need some of this to slow the brain down a bit ....  

Hi Bobby, and no I can not take pictures with my phone, it is a car phone, (on star), too heavy to pick up, so no pictures there, but I will work on it, lol lol lol,  hugs, Lorna

ummm lorna ....... ipad ?? (i don't have one of them ... haha  but i think you can take pics with them ) ... webcam on your computer ??? i have one of those on the laptop .. and took pics of the grand daughters with it when the battery was flat on the camera ... had a bit of fun trying to set it up ... the old webcam that sat on the desktop was easier to move about .. lol .... i need some sleep ...... haha ... I can't think of anything else ... haha ... 

i was going to say scanner ... but that won't work will it ... ... well it is 3:30am here and i have not been to bed yet ...

I will  be  buying a pot holder Bobbie, can't get in to Bruce until 22nd of this month.  Have already started collecting bits and pieces, yes, it is fun.

there are some very nice potmits out there linda ... 

if you are looking online... check for .... pot mitts ... oven mitts and pot holders ... everyone seems to list them differently ..... i have been collecting ... patterns .. haha ... pity i didn't make half the stuff i collect ... would have heaps to show off for the time spent on my bum ... haha ... 

hey there Bobbie girl..... voting?????  ummmmm...hmmmm can go either way...but if pushed...probably in favor of going with named sender........ (but I value your  opinion )  ....really I do........ 

Robyn ... you do need to put your name on the parcel when you send it ... i am looking at ... should we know who our partners are before they send the parcel to us ... and then we would know who to poke and bribe if we want more stuff ... lol ... 

at the moment this is a one way swap till the bonbon is delivered ... we can stay with that ... or change that ... at the moment the votes go ... we leave it as is .... and find out when we get the parcel in the mail ... 

mind you that vote is 2 to 1 .... but still winning with twice as many votes .... 

and now on another issue with these sweet little bonbons ... 

we are suppose to put stuff inside the roll and leave it at that ..... plus then add the pot mit ... 

ok ... i know with you lot that this is NEVER going to happen ... you all just love to give stuff away .. and i count me in that too ... over do everything to the extreme i do ... but .... in saying this ... please ... please ... please ... if you are going to overstuff your bonbon .... and good on me cos i do ... please .. yes i am saying that word again ... please don't be too upset if the one you get back is not overstuffed and overflowing cos your partner has stuck to the written rule .... 

and that is all i am going to say .... haha ... yeah i know .. i will say more and you know i will .... 

ladies .. my dear sweet friends ... please give what you want ... stuff it til it looks like a pregnant cow .. or leave it slim and sleek like a cheetah .... but .. give with a glad heart knowing that this is what you choose to give .. not what you think you should be giving ... whatever it is will be wonderful and your partner i am sure will cherish it ...
