a MugRug is basically an oversized mug coaster ..... it is approximately ... 6 inches by 10 inches ... layered and quilted ... just like a little quilt with batting inside ....

partners assigned 1 June ... via email .. which will include your partners name and snail mail address ...

MugRug mailed to partner no later than 15 June ...

as this is an open themed swap .. you can start making your MugRug now ... or wait till you know who your partner is and then make one that she may like ...

this is going to be an excellent swap .... i love mugrugs ... and they really are so easy to make ....

I know you are busy Bobbie, but there also has to be another draw done for the mug rug swap too!

yep i know .. i am running behind at the moment ... been cutting out all my lotto blocks and forgot totally about the partners ...


give me about an hour to eat and i will get the emails out to everyone ...

tis ok .. i have the partners sorted ... i did that bit yesterday ... just never got the email part of it all done .... and that is not a real problem ... can do that while i am watching tele ...


of course that could mean that you all end up with the same partner ... me .... haha .... ... and i get all the really good mugrugs ...

also .. i have asked that you forward me some little bits of information about you that i can pass onto your partner in case they want to make a more personalised mugrug for you ...

now you don't have to send me this information ... but should your partner ask for information about you ... i will have to tell them what bits i know about you ... and ... if you know me at all ... you will know that if i am not sure about stuff .. i will just make it up as i go along ... ..... and you could end up with a mug rug that has green and orange spotted cows on it ... so .. let me know a couple of things about you ... what colours you like ... any creatures that you like or dislike ... ....

which could be felines ... or feathered winged things that have beaks ... or butterflies .. puppies ... whatever ...

these things are just a guide ..... so a few good details would be really helpful to some of us who don't have a clue ... and i am talking about me ... haha ..

so message or email me your likes .. dislikes etc ... and i will pass it along to your partner ..... it is then up to them what they do with that information ...

keep an eye on the deadline for mailing ... and ... don't forget to take a photo of your creation ladies ...

and have fun making your partners mugrug ..

i already have a pile of mugrugs and coasters .... and they all get used at different times .... with different cakes ... and i have a christmas one .. and a beach one too ...

so we could do themed ones as well ... and in a themed one .. we could actually be told who our partners are .... MAYBE !!!!!

I have ONE! It is mine and mine alone!!!! I also have ladies who visit each Tuesday would love to have one.
