| Please sign up here if you wish to participate in this swap ... please email me for the pattern if you don't already have it .. there is a link at the bottom of this post for my email ... or download it ... [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]and you will find all the information [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] !!!!! The 8 inch (finished) block theme for this swap is .. Black and White with Red !! so any fabric that is black and white with red or any or these combinations will work nicely ... .... and the borders to be any combination of these colours too ... so this swap will be a little different to the others I suspect .... can hardly wait to see what you all come up with ... the block centres may be a charm square .. appliqued .. embroidered or paper pieced .. that bit is your personal choice ... don't rush them and remember to make something you would love to receive ... and remember ... you need to make 6 and photograph all of them to go into the draw ... You must have your photos posted no later than midnight July 31st ... please post all photos in the gallery ... [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Remember .. no photo .. no entry ... ... no entry .. no chance to win ... also please note ... we may have some international members joining in this swap .. which means you must be prepared to mail overseas .. the cost of this to the US from Australia would be between $2.35 and $4.70 ... depending on your fabrics and packaging .. i have sent similar in a plain envelope and can more often than not get it under the 50 grams and can send it for $2.35 ... and for those here in Australia .. you will need to fill out a customs declaration for it also ... but you may not have to worry about the postage .. cos you may be the winner .. which means you get to keep yours and get a whole lot of squishies in the mail ... woohoo.... Winners will announced on the 1st of next month (no extensions !!) .... I will contact the winner to get a snail mail address and then will let you all know what that is ... via email ... it will be lovely to have you all join in ... and don't forget to have lots of fun picking out your fabrics ..... | |

| Gonna have a go at this one...nearly swallowed my teeth when I read I had to make 6!! Then realised my fears were groundless once I had printed the pattern out. Here's hoping...oh, and a question...do they all have to be the same? 6 of the same design? or all different? | |

| deb whatever you want .. as long as they fit the theme and are as the pattern reads ...
if you go back thru the gallery you will see that we all do very different things .. and then some months we do the same ... i guess it depends on how much of what fabric you have available ...
i know your fingers would not tolerate embroidery .. but that is another way to do them ... gilly did lovely lovely paper pieced owls and jan did gorgeous embroidered owls ... and i own them all ... woohoo ...
but this months black and white with red leaves the door open for all sorts of abstracty things ... like ... ummmm ... crazy patch for one ... wihich is another great idea for the centre ...
or .. you could do .. one of each idea .. ... if you can think of 6 ideas .... | |

| i have completed my blocks .. but .. have to go to bed cos i am tired .. but will put pics in the gallery tomorrow ... i think they worked well ...
and talk about different reds .. haha .. yep .. i ended up with very different reds .. one almost looks orange against the other ...

| Ok …… I have posted my block lotto pictures in the gallery for the Red, Black and White. I am a true novice when it comes to this “Blogging” and posting pics. The pics are there, but there are no words describing what they are and who they are from, etc. But I am trying and thanks for understanding. | |

| Thanks Evelyn, I did get the file. Bobbie sent me a copy as well. I did post pics in gallery. This is the first block lotto I have done. All my blocks are the same, I hope that's ok. Next time I will change it up a bit.

| hi jen .. your blocks are fantastic ... love the centres ... someone is going to win some great blocks again this month ... oh .. and i edited your pics by putting your name on them ... but that is not a major thing really cos the programme actually links the poster with the pic .. and the beauty of this swap is ... you get to chose how the end result is ... all the same or different ... makes it more interesting me thinks ...  and you are doing great .... don't worry about that ...  we were all new at one time .. | |
