A quilting question re corners.

If I have the 4 pieces of binding cut for a small quilt can I attach them first? Don't fancy trying to get it all measured properly then attaching.
I know how to do the mitre and I have seen plenty of info how to do a complete right around quilt binding but I have cut the sides now.

Check outside Wendy, and if you don't see any quilting police about....... just do what you want to do! I say 'go for it' if you haven't already? And, if you need further help I will get back in here later tonight before I go to bed if possible - grandies permitting of course.......... hahaha

I have the fabric stretching at the moment so that will take a couple of days because of the beading.
Then I will have a go at the corners - may well just go back to 'ordinary' corners because of the weight of the top.

I think we learn something new with each quilt we make, well i do anyway! Hope you will be sharing a photo of the finished product too Wendy? Would love to see it please?
